How to set up recurring custody schedule reminders
Use reminders for the schedule and for the documentation habit.
If your custody schedule is already stressful, reminders should reduce mental load, not add more noise. Custody Journal gives you a few ways to stay ahead of upcoming obligations.
For recurring reminders to log what is happening, go to Journal then Reminders. There you can add a reminder with a frequency of daily, weekly, or custom weekdays, then choose the local time when you want the email nudge sent. This is useful if you want a recurring prompt after regular exchange days, weekend pickups, or any routine parenting schedule where you tend to forget to document while you are busy.
For exchange-specific heads-up emails, open Plan & billing then Email notifications and turn on Exchange reminders. That setting sends heads-up emails before scheduled custody exchanges. You can also enable Missed exchange alerts if you want a prompt when a scheduled exchange appears to have been missed and should be documented.
If you want less noise, use the same notification settings page to pick delivery method, set quiet hours, and decide whether emergencies can override those quiet hours. Save the settings when you are done.
