- Weekend
- A 2-2-5-5 schedule. Mother's parenting time begins on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. The rule includes an example chart.
- Midweek
- The 2-2-5-5 rotation is the weekday schedule. See the example chart in Rule 7.6.
- Holiday
- Holiday chart below. Holidays and days of special meaning come before the 2-2-5-5 schedule. Spring break is with Mother in even years and Father in odd years. Winter break is split in half. Even years Father has the first half and Mother the second half. Odd years that split reverses. Winter break starts at 6:00 p.m. on the last day of school and ends at school drop-off after the break. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day are not counted in the equal split.
- Summer
- Each parent has half of summer, one week on and one week off, Sunday at 6:00 p.m. to the next Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The secondary residential parent's time starts the first full week after the last day of school. The parents may use 2-2-5-5 instead. Each parent also has two uninterrupted weeks. Even years Mother chooses first, by May 1. Odd years Father chooses first, by May 1. Neither parent has more than 14 uninterrupted days without the other parent's consent.
