- Weekend
- Every other weekend from Friday at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday at 7:00 p.m., beginning on a specific date.
- Midweek
- One parenting time period a week from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If the parents cannot agree on the day, it is Wednesday. If the children are different ages, the return time is the time for the youngest child.
- Holiday
- Holiday chart below. Priority if days overlap: the child's birthday, then holidays, then spring break, then the regular schedule. A Monday school break that is not otherwise listed, including Memorial Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Day, and President's Day, extends the weekend of the parent who has the preceding weekend until 7:00 p.m. Monday. Spring break starts at 7:00 p.m. on the last day of school before the recess and ends at 7:00 p.m. on the last day before school resumes. Even years with Father. Odd years with Mother. Christmas first half starts at 9:00 a.m. on the first calendar day after the last school day before the recess and continues until 7:00 p.m. on December 26. Even years with Mother. Odd years with Father. Christmas second half starts at 7:00 p.m. on December 26 and continues until 7:00 p.m. the evening before school resumes. Even years with Father. Odd years with Mother.
- Summer
- Each parent has alternating weeks for the whole summer. A week is Sunday at 7:00 p.m. to Friday at 7:00 p.m. and does not replace the other parent's weekend. In odd years Mother has the first full week beginning the Sunday at 7:00 p.m. after the last day of school. In even years Father does. July 4 stays with the parent who has that week. The last week ends at 7:00 p.m. on the last Friday before school starts.
- Long distance
- Appendix E says parents for whom this schedule is impractical should use the court's long-distance schedule and Local Rule 2.19. Rule 2.19 covers a move of more than 150 miles from the child's residence. Appendix F is that long-distance schedule. It is not summarized here.
