These are the court's standard parenting time guidelines for parents traveling under 175 miles one way. The court says they are guidelines only and may be modified in the child's best interest. A deviation has to be submitted to the court and put in a final order. The guidelines say they should not routinely be used for children under 3, and the examples in the file for those ages do not constitute an order. Christmas, spring break, and Good Friday through Easter are in the guidelines and are not single calendar rows. The separate guidelines for travel over 175 miles are not summarized here.

The same guidelines cite Juvenile Local Rule 22.0(B).

Schedule by age or option

Under age 3

Weekend
The guidelines say they should not routinely be used for children under 3. A case-by-case schedule may be more appropriate. The examples in the file do not constitute an order.
Midweek
The file gives examples only: for an infant under 6 months, frequent short visits by agreement of not less than 3 times a week for about two hours. For a child from 6 months to 3 years, those visits plus one overnight three times a month. Those examples are not an order.
Holiday
Not set as an order for this age. See the under-175-mile schedule if the court applies it.
Summer
Not set as an order for this age.
Long distance
This file is the under-175-mile guideline. The over-175-mile guideline is a separate file and is not summarized here.

Under 175 miles one way

Weekend
Alternate weekends, 7:00 p.m. Friday to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, starting the second Friday after the order or decree is journalized. During the nonresidential parent's summer time, the residential parent has the same kind of weekend on the second Friday and the fourth Friday after summer parenting time starts.
Midweek
One weekday evening a week, starting after school but no later than 5:00 p.m. and continuing to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday unless they agree otherwise. This does not apply during a parent's two weeks of summer vacation. The parent exercising this time provides the transportation.
Holiday
Holiday chart below. If two provisions conflict, the one listed first in the guidelines is the one used. The weekend rotation continues as if the holiday had not happened. Christmas, in odd years, gives the nonresidential parent 7:00 p.m. on the last day of school (or 7:00 p.m. on December 16 if no child attends school) to 9:30 a.m. December 25, and the residential parent 9:30 a.m. December 25 to 7:00 p.m. January 1. Even years reverse that. Spring break in odd years is with the nonresidential parent from 7:00 p.m. on the last day of school before the break to 7:00 p.m. the day before school reconvenes. Even years that break is with the residential parent. Good Friday through Easter is a separate rule when it is not during spring break, and a different rule if the child is not in school. A parent's birthday uses the same hours as Mother's Day and Father's Day. The child's birthday rules depend on whether there is one child or more than one.
Summer
Summer starts the day after the children are out of school and continues until seven days before school begins. Each parent's time is half of the intervening weeks, full or partial. In odd years the nonresidential parent picks the start date and gives written notice at least 30 days ahead. In even years the residential parent does. During the nonresidential parent's summer time, the residential parent still has the weekend rule above. Each parent may take an uninterrupted vacation of not more than two weeks inside that parent's summer time. A trip away from home needs a general itinerary.
Long distance
This schedule is for parents traveling under 175 miles one way. The over-175-mile guidelines are a separate file and are not summarized here.
