The schedule says parenting time shall take place as the parties agree, and that this shall not normally be less than the times below. Unless agreed otherwise, Parent 1 is the plaintiff or Petitioner 1, and Parent 2 is the defendant or Petitioner 2. Holidays take priority over other parenting time.

Juvenile courts for unmarried parents may use a different schedule.

Local schedule

Weekend
Every other weekend, Friday at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday at 7:00 p.m., beginning on a date the order names.
Midweek
One weekday. Not yet in kindergarten: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Kindergarten through 8th grade: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. High school: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If there is more than one child, use the youngest child's return time. Wednesday if the parents do not agree on the day.
Holiday
See the holiday list. Holidays win over weekends, midweeks, birthdays, school breaks, and vacations.
Summer
Each parent has four weeks of vacation in addition to school breaks and holidays, with 60 days notice, unless the order already sets vacation or summer time. The first written request wins if both ask for the same dates.
Long distance
If a move leaves the parents more than 150 miles apart, the long-distance schedule applies. The text of that schedule is not in this summary.
